Taunton StaplegroveTuesday 12th July 2006 Saturday 10th June 2006 Saturday 10th February 2007 The 27-year-old woman and two female friends were waiting in the car park next to the Kings Arms pub in Staplegrove Road. Police say another car drove into the car park and a dispute began between its occupants and the woman over the way it was being driven. One of the car's occupants then seriously assaulted the woman, leaving her with a fractured cheekbone which later required hospital treatment. Man Assaulted As He Walked Home A 54-year-old man has been assaulted in Taunton town centre. It happened just after midnight on Wednesday when the man was walking along Kingston Road. The man was approached and assaulted by a teenage boy and girl. He was treated at Musgrove Park hospital for minor injuries. Fight in Local Pizza Shop A fight broke out between two drunken men in a local pizza shop on station road. Police attended the scene which took place about 11.30
